Narek Martirosyan
Narek Martirosyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia. He trained at the Yerevan State National Choreographic College. Upon graduation, he joined the Armenian National Ballet Theatre. Narek was awarded the Moves Khorenatsi Medal by the President of Armenia for his significant contributions to the development of culture and his outstanding performance in the ballet Spartacus. In 2011, he joined Israel Ballet as a Principal Dancer. In 2013, he joined Musical Theatre of the Republic of Karelia. A year later, he joined the New Jersey Ballet Company. Narek’s repertoire includes Don Quixote, Carmen, Giselle, Romeo & Juliet, Spartacus, Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker. In 2021, he joined Cleveland Ballet, and has danced numerous principal roles in their company, including Rothbart, Prince Desire, and Sugar Plum Cavalier. Mr. Martirosyan is married to his lovely wife, Albina Ghazaryan, and is the proud father of his little son, Marc.
